DBI/SALA 7400440 SecuraSpan I-Beam Horizontal Lifeline System

Extremely lightweight and portable, these systems incorporate a modular, multi-base design that accommodates a wide range of steel and concrete beams. Spans can be up to 60 ft. (18.3 m) and with the optional bypass brackets, the system can be configured to run indefinitely for ultimate jobsite flexibility. You can always depend on our horizontal safety systems for mobility and fall protection when working at height. That’s why safety engineers and site directors choose DBI-SALA horizontal lifelines. We offer the broadest selection, as well as significant advantages in safety and productivity. A horizontal lifeline may appear to be a basic line strung between two anchors, but it is not. It is critical to choose a system that has been precision engineered and rigorously tested to meet regulations. These systems are used to protect workers operating in the horizontal plane who may not have continuous access to suitable anchorage points.

Complete 40 ft. (12.2m) system includes two stanchions and cable assembly - Complete engineered system is ready for you to install or customize and provide the ultimate in horizontal mobility and fall protection.

Rugged 3/8" (9.5mm) 7x19 galvanized cable lifeline -  All metal construction provides the ultimate in jobsite durability and the galvanized finish offers corrosion resistance for longer service life.

Fits I-beam flanges 6 in. to 12 in. (15.2-30.5 cm) up to 2-1/4" (5.7 cm) thick - Integrated system has a wide range of adjustment for greater jobsite flexibility and versatility. Options available to fit 18, 24 and 36 in. (45.7, 60.9 and 91.4 cm) wide flanges.

Lightweight and portable design - Provides fast and easy handling, installation and storage for maximum worker productivity.

Top mounted adjustment system - All adjustments are made from the top of the beam for added ease of installation and complete user safety.

Simple clamp and wing nut installation - A single clamp with large wing nut makes clamping to beam fast, easy and safe.

Extremely durable construction - Extremely rugged zinc plated steel construction provides corrosion resistance for longer service life.

Single and multi-span indefinite length system configurations - Provides complete customization of your system depending upon the clearance below the work area and overall length needed.

Pass-thru 100% tie-off protection
- The multi-span intermediate provides bypass capabilities for continuous connection, there is no need to disconnect and reconnect offering complete horizontal mobility and 100% protection.

Zorbit energy absorber limits fall arrest forces - Exclusive Zorbit energy absorber limits fall arrest forces on the worker to safe levels, minimizes fall clearance needed and protects the structure.

Flexible system capacity - System capacity of 2 workers per span, with a maximum of 6 workers on multi-span systems provides added jobsite flexibility.

Stanchion is offset 15 degrees for easy passage - The offset makes maneuvering the beam easy, and the 36" (91.4 cm) height allows the user to use the lifeline has a handrail for added safety.

Various lengths and individual components are available - Modular design and individual components allow you to completely customize your system any way you want it for ultimate jobsite versatility.

Equipped with i-Safe - Integrated RFID identification tag for recording and storing information on inspections and tracking safety equipment.
